More comfort needs a little more preparation

A restroom trailer is an option when guests prefer flushing fixtures, sinks and a finished interior. Climate-controlled trailer options are available to discuss. The reserved model determines the layout, hookups, capacity and accessibility.

For a garden wedding or corporate gathering in Arvada, start by confirming where the trailer can sit and how guests will reach it. A pleasant interior will not solve a narrow driveway, an unapproved parking position or an inadequate electrical supply.

Power and water: confirm the actual setup

Provide the location of available outlets and water connections. Before delivery, obtain the required circuit count, voltage, amperage, connector type, cord limits and water requirements for the assigned trailer. If utilities are not available, ask about a generator or temporary water arrangement and include it in the written quote.

Do not assume an ordinary household extension cord or a single outlet will run every trailer. Electrical capacity, heating and air conditioning can change the requirements.

Steps are not an accessible entrance

The illustrated stepped trailer is not an accessibility promise. Discuss an accessible trailer or an ADA-compliant portable restroom and an appropriate route as part of the same rental plan.

Guest count is only the starting point

Explain how long the reception or event runs, when guests arrive, whether drinks are served and what other bathrooms remain open. Tank capacity and a manufacturer’s estimated uses should not be treated as a guaranteed attendance limit.

Plan the route, not just the footprint

Measure the narrowest gate, note overhead wires and tell us about slopes, steps, gravel or soft ground. An equipment dimension is not a delivery-vehicle clearance. We need to assess the whole route and retain access for pumping and collection.

Mark your preferred position and provide a reachable on-site contact. If a backyard cannot be reached safely, agree on a practical alternative before dispatch. Never move a filled unit yourself.

Before you approve the quote

Check the reserved trailer, setup and collection windows, utility responsibilities, servicing, supplies, accessibility provision and any attendant request. Ask how weekend or holiday collection is scheduled before the venue closes.
