Put handwashing where people need it
A standalone handwashing station works beside a restroom cluster or near an event activity, subject to the venue’s plan. It serves people independently of an occupied portable toilet, which is useful during busy breaks or meal periods.
For Arvada construction and food-related events, confirm the type of washing facility required for the work. Hand sanitizer and a non-heated portable sink are not interchangeable with every required washing setup.

Plan water, supplies and collection
Request the station together with your toilets so delivery and servicing can be considered as one setup. Confirm the initial water fill, soap and towels, refilling schedule, grey-water removal and final pickup. If attendance grows, request a revised service plan.
Place the station on a stable surface with enough room for people to approach and use both sides. Keep it clear of the restroom door swing and accessible paths.
Know the washing requirements for your use
OSHA 1926.51 addresses construction washing facilities and includes water-temperature requirements for lavatories. A basic non-heated Bravo station should not be assumed to satisfy every site’s requirement. Ask about an appropriate alternative where tepid or heated water is needed.
See OSHA 1926.51(f) and your event or workplace requirements.
Cold-weather rentals in Arvada
If freezing weather is possible during the rental, tell us whether the station will be outdoors overnight. Review the equipment and operating plan before booking; do not add chemicals or modify a water system yourself.
